Capturing Moments, Creating Memories - Novel Photos Photography
If you can't find an answer to your question,
email us at novelphotos@yahoo.com or text us at 205.965.6015.
We do almost any type of photography. Areas we aren't as experienced at include newborn, real estate, and astrophotography. Check out our portfolios to see examples of the types of photography we do best.
Go to the "Contact Us" page and fill out a quote request.
Small to medium shoots will be ready within a few days; big events could take a couple of weeks. Please tell us if you have a specific deadline.
A web download is only good for social sharing. If you try to print them, they will be grainy. There are many advantages to buy full-resolution downloads, including the ability to print any size at any time; to share them on social media, email or online; and to have a quality digital copy in case something happens to a print.
No. That watermark will be taken off when you buy prints or downloads.
Unless otherwise stated, photos are cropped to 4x6. This means that if you order another size, there will be some parts slightly cut off. We try to leave enough space around the subject to allow for this, but sometimes it's not possible.
If you want us to look for a close-up of a specific person or check if we can crop the group photo to include only one person, please email us and we'll see what we can do.
All of the photos are copyrighted, which means you can't print them unless you have permission. Some labs will require that permission in writing. If a print release isn't part of your contract and you want one, please let us know.
Talk to us about those types of images. Depending on the photo, we can probably re-edit it. Depending on what exactly you want, there may be a small charge, but we work with you on that. Email us with the request and the name and/or description of the photo you want edited and we'll let you know if it can be done.
We always try our best to get every image as clear as possible. But due to lighting, movement, and other technical issues, sometimes it's not possible. We believe that some images are still wonderful memories even if they aren't technically perfect.
Due to this, we sometimes leave images in galleries that aren't the best technically but, because of something very special in the image, they are worth keeping.
If you have a contract has a minimum number of images promised, these non-technically perfect images will not count toward that total. That way, if you don't like those that have the issues mentioned, you can simply delete them while still getting what you paid for.
Remember that it's always better to print an image that's slightly blurry in the smallest size possible, such as a 4x6. The bigger the print, the more likely that small flaws will be magnified.
If there are images you want and can't afford them, please talk to us. Tracy was a single mom through the majority of her daughter's life and is now a freelancer so she understands financial stress. We want you to get the tangible memories we've captured for you and so we will try to work out a way for you to get them.
I, Tracy, have a blog on my struggles while becoming the professional photographer I am now as well as what I've learned about photography - both the craft and the business.
